Golden Damselfish with Isopod

Amblyglyphidodon aureus, the golden damselfish, in preadult stage with a brown fish-flea (Anilocra sp.) attached to it. This relationship is parasitic, because only one of the two animals profit of it. The isopod will suck the blood out of the fish. Getting rid of the parasite is often impossible and the host is going to die.
