Golden Damselfish with Isopod

Amblyglyphidodon aureus, the golden damselfish, in preadult stage with a brown fish-flea (Anilocra sp.) attached to it. This relationship isĀ parasitic, because only one of the two animals profit of it. The isopod will suck the blood out of the fish. Getting rid of the parasite is often impossible and theĀ host is going to die.
