The Passage is a saltwater river between the islands of Gam and Waigeo, two of the bigger islands of Raja Ampat. Currents can be sweaping. Depending on the tide, you either start or end the dive in a big cavern or underneath overhangs that are fully covered with soft corals. The coral garden is so dense and healthy that you find yourself floating at only 2m depth taking pictures of all the things you see in the awesome natural lighting.
